I am…I have a lazy style. All I do is go to school and work. I’m a sweats and hoodie type of person. But when I do wanna dress up..I’m sexy. I like to dress sexy.

Who do you look to for inspiration?

My mother. She didn’t go to school and have a degree and all that. But that woman is beautiful, she knows how to be a woman. Knows how to be a mother and knows how to care.

What are your goals for this year and forward?

I’m going to graduate this Spring from Long Beach State with my degree in Engineering. I plan on moving to the Bay Area. Hopefully get a good job, sell some weed (laughs).. and go from there.

You’re going to the club with 3 of your girls, dead or alive, who do you take?

Oprah, Michelle Obama and my mama.

What is your definition of a Trill Guy?

A guy that is 100% in what he says. Honesty. Even if it’s shitty or going to hurting my feelings or he did some cray shit.

Staying true to you and what you believe in no matter what.

I really like menswear. It’s like a mixture of hard soft. Men’s shirt and jackets and stuff like that. But the same time I like to pair it with girly things. Like accessories and lipstick.

What are 3 things that keep you sane?

Music. My close friends & family. Movies.

One quote or lyric to describe you or your life?

“I’m a nut. But not just a nut”- Bill Murray. Essentially I’m a little crazy but that’s not all I am.

Who do you look to for inspiration?

My mom. Cause she’s been through a lot. And of course everyone has been through a lot but when someone close has been through a lot it hit close to home. And she’s very insightful and one of the very few real women lady like people today. My mom is a real lady and it’s not for show that shit is her real life.

What are your goals for this year and forward?

This year definitely is The Sweetest Language. That needs to pop off. And I want to move to San Francisco.

Aaliyah cause she can dance. Kate Moss and Edie Sedgwick.

What is your definition of a Trill Guy?

Someone that doesn’t front and completely comfortable in their own skin. No matter what weird interests they may or may not have. Someone who doesn’t pretend to floss. Also to be a well dressed dude. And not well dressed as in designer clothes but you just know what looks good and you roll with it.

You being a Trill Girl, what does that mean to you?

It would be the same thing. Real ass girl that doesn’t front and goes with whatever she likes and is GOOD AT IT. And someone who can dress, and not in the sense of what I like, or what someone else likes. But in the sense she just owns whatever she wears. She wears it to the fullest and isn’t embarrassed or shy.

What is City of Trill?

City of Trill is an online thrift store that specializes in rare and vintage clothing for both men and women. The website is CityOfTrill.com.


What made you want to start City of Trill?

City of Trill has been an idea I’ve had in mind for a while. I’ve been purchasing my clothes from thrift stores and ebay exclusively for the past 4 years. It all started with me not wanting to pay $65 for some camouflage shorts. So I found an army surplus store, bought some pants for $8 and cut them and there I was with the exact shorts I wanted. After that it became an addiction seeing clothes that were dope that very few people have because they’re old and/or discontinued. So I figured why not sell this to other people who had a very unique style without the designer budget. If it looks good, it looks good and if it doesn’t it doesn’t.

Why the name City of Trill?

I love the movie City of God and if anyone knows me they know I speak/tweet/and text in mostly pop culture references so it would only make sense to use wordplay on a popular movie to name my company. And the reason I used to word Trill is because that’s what I want City of Trill and it’s audience to represent. Fly people wearing shit they think is fly not cause the label on the tag or the logo but because….it’s fly.

Where do you see City of Trill going?

I see it going as far as the people want it to go. As long as the general public feel I provide good product at good prices City of Trill will forever be successful. I get the product you see on the site from all over so if I’m constantly looking I will find something my consumer is interested in.

What do you want people to think when they hear City of Trill?

Just dope clothes and the I don’t give a fuck. Do It Yourself attitude that started this idea. I didn’t hire any photographers or models. I was just blessed with the people around me who support me and the vision.
